How to make screen shots/screen grabs, and pictures.

Easy step by step guide of how to post screen shots in forums etc.

Fistly make sure what you want to screen shot is "live" by left clicking your mouse on it.

Then press the Alt button and the Print Screen button.

Nothing will appear to have happened bit don't worry.

Open your photo editing software ( I swear by Paint.net) ordinary paint that comes on your pc is also fine.

Click on the edit option in paint and press the "paste" option, your picture will appear.

Edit out the bits you don't want or save it as it is, click "save as" and give it a name.

Then open an account at paint bucket or some other picture storing site and upload your picture to it. There are many free sites to do this with.

In the topic where you want to post look for the picture/insert image option. Usually a small image that looks like a picture 

click on and save the direct link option on your photo in photobucket and copy the link.

Paste the link in the insert image option on the forum

Depending on which forum you might have other options like this



just paste your code and align as shown.

press save/post and hey presto your picture will be there.

How do I get a screenshot and add it to my post?
This must have been asked and answered 100 times so here is my easy to follow step by step guide
Bring up the screenshot you want to copy from your game history.
Make sure it is the active screen by clicking on it.
press and hold ALT press PRINT SCREEN SYSTRQ.
Nothing will have appeared to have happened, done worry.
Then open paint, this is the best thing to save your pics with.
click edit. then paste, the screenshot will now appear as if by magic.
Click file, click save as.
In the first box choose a name for your pic
In the 2nd box save as Jpeg, this will make the screenshot instantly acceptable in the post.
However if you are using firefox instead of internet explorer you will have to save it as a giff.
When you want to add the pic just click on add attachment to this post at the bottom of the post box, just above the POST REPLY BOX
This will bring up the box with the option to add 3 screenshots or pics under 500kb. Add them 1 at a time remembering to resize any pics first if they are over 500kb.
You will not need to resize the screenshots if you saved them as I said.
Thats it, then you just sit back and enjoy all the banter that your pics produce.
