Problem loading web pages
« on: February 13, 2011, 11:08:58 AM »
The last few days I have had major problems loading my web pages which has made posting a real pain in the bum.

I had to keep hitting F5 and it has taken me ages to bring the forum back due to this problem.

This morning I decided to try and find a solution and this is what has cured my problem.

To resolve this problem in Internet Explorer, follow these steps:
1. Quit all programs that are running.
2. Click Start, and then click Run.
3. Type regsvr32 urlmon.dll and then click OK.
4. When you receive the "DllRegisterServer in urlmon.dll succeeded" message, click OK.
If this does not resolve the problem, repeat steps 2 through 4 for each of the following files (in step 3, replace Urlmon.dll with each of the file names below):
• Shdocvw.dll
• Actxprxy.dll
• Oleaut32.dll
• Mshtml.dll
• Browseui.dll
• Shell32.dll

It was resolved after the regsvr32 urlmon.dll so I am a happy bunny again.

I just wanted to pass this on in case others have the same problem.
